Tickets
Conference passes ($30 minimum; $50 suggested) and reception tickets ($10 minimum; $20 suggested) are available at the event (cash only). Advance ticket sales are over.
Horizons is a non-profit community event. Its board members, planners, speakers and general staff are volunteers. Ticket sales are its sole source of revenue. Horizons is not a fundraiser. The goal is simply to share knowledge and break even.
The standard conference pass (includes admission on Friday, Saturday & Sunday) price is $50. We think that this is very reasonable, considering it includes an entire weekend's worth of learning, creativity and socializing.
If you are a student, or facing financial hardship such as unemployment, $30 conference passes are available. They also include admission to all three days. If you truly cannot afford to spend any money, please contact us in advance about volunteering in exchange for admission.
For those who would like to support Horizons as an annual institution, $100, $500 and $1,000 conference passes are available. These prices are more in-line with what typical academic and professional conferences cost. All of these tickets include a framed print of Sasha & Ann Shulgin at Horizons 2008 and a limited edition poster.
Your personal information will be kept stricly confidential and never shared or sold with any organization or business for any reason. Our ticket vendor is a trustworthy, independent company called Brown Paper Tickets. You may purchase tickets in cash if you have privacy concerns.
